Beautiful B&B within 5 minute walk of downtown Dingle with a beautiful view of the bay. Service was wonderful and so was breakfast. Went out of their way to help us find B&B the next night in Dollin. Rooms were very night and priced right. Would highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations. Great hospitality and building and trim very well designed and kept very tight. As good as any 4 star hotel. Great location, easy to find, parking easy and views over Dingle town impressive. A very good effort by all the staff.

A wonderfull cross between a private home and boutique hotel. The location was great - just uphill from Dingle Town center and Gary, the proprietor, ran a great breakfast in the morning along with pointing my brother and I in the right direction regarding the many beautiful sights in the area. I will bring my wife back to this great house with a view of the Dingle Peninsula for our next anniversary. The off-season rates are truly reasonable for what you get in return. I remember initially walking in to the desk area and was so very impressed, everything just shined. Our room was very comfortable and meticulous. Only one comment, to help you keep the excellent status, the bathroom was very dark. Best regards,

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Greenmount House. A perfect complement to the wonderful village and peninsula of Dingle. Our host, Gary, went out of his way to accommodate our requests. Will definitely stay there again upon our return.

Gary Curran and his family have a beautiful spot in Dingle. The setting is on a hill overlooking Dingle Bay and the Coast Guard Station. We were lucky to be there for the Blood full moon eclipse the end of September and it was there in front of us all evening. It's a quick 5 minutes walk into town and all that it has to offer. The guest house has lovely common rooms, with art work, rich appointments and decorated well. Our room was perfect, good color scheme, nice outside and inside sitting areas, large modern bath, I wanted to take the wall mirror with the built in magnifier home. comfortable beds, fridge, coffee, tea... The full breakfast was expertly served with many selections. Delicious. I would definitely go back to Dingle again just to stay there... There's a great pub scene and Slayhead Trail Drive is not to be missed.

This is a first class accommodation just minutes to downtown restaurants and pubs. Gary, our host, was the best. Helped with our luggage, made us hot tea when we arrived and gave us suggestions for dining in town. The staff were always available and the whole property very relaxing. Great view across the bay from the front sitting area outside. A self serve wine and snack bar was available plus a comfortable sitting area.

We loved it and will definitely return. This was our first stay in Dingle and Greenmount House was a perfect host. The location is perfect, with beautiful views. Marie and Gary were very gracious and helpful hosts. They are friendly and fun to talk with, and provided perfect recommendations for daily trips and nightly dining and craic! The breakfasts were everything you could ask for - fresh ingredients and well prepared, with ample variety.

Fantastic place. We were upgraded to a sea view room upstairs where we sat on the balcony in the sun admiring the view. Staff very friendly. Some nice touches eg fridge and wine glasses in room. Wine available to purchase at the guesthouse or you could bring your own. Sea view is worth paying extra for. We were just lucky to get it at cheaper rate as it suited the staff on the day. Room spotless. Hope to return again.

This was our favorite place to stay during our recent two week visit to Ireland. The room was large and bright, with a nice balcony, and a skylight. We woke every morning to watch the sun fill the Dingle harbor. Then went down stairs to a breakfast room with wraparound windows offering that same dramatic view. The breakfast was sumptuous, with a wide offering of pastries and cereals, followed by the full array of hot breakfast items, including different specials every morning. They also had afternoon snacks like a cheese plate and sandwiches as well as wine available for purchase at a reasonable price. One evening we were happy just making a likght supper of their snacks rather than go out to eat. Service was personable, friendly, patient and precise. Plenty of helpful hints about what to do and where to eat targeted to our needs and interests. I'm gluten free and they adapted many of their offerings to meet my dietary requirements. They offer a very convenient laundry service. All this for a very competitive price and in a beautiful location. No wonder they consistently receive 5 stars from reviewers.

Excellent trip to Dingle which was made by Greenmount Guesthouse. I have stayed in some high end hotels which don't come close to this place. Excellent facilities with a home from home feeling. Staff couldn't have been friendlier and the range of breakfasts were superb. If you are considering Dingle this guesthouse is a MUST!

A lovely B&B with extremely well-appointed and spacious rooms, on a hill overlooking Dingle Bay -- great views from the B&B! The son's owner helped us out in many ways and was very patient and friendly. We were easily able to walk from the B&B to great restaurants in town. This was the nicest B&B we stayed in during our 16 days in Ireland. I highly recommend it.

Simply the best! My husband and I spent two nights at Greenmount House, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. Gary welcomed us warmly, taking us to our room which was amazing. Spacious, breathtaking view, sumptuous bathroom, beautiful bed and linens. We had a terrace to enjoy, and anything we needed, from tea and biscuits to advice on our itinerary was immediately given, simply ask. Breakfast was exceptional. I can't think of a better base from which to tour Dingle and the peninsula. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Simple Top Notch!! We stayed 2 nights in the Greenmount House and I have to say that this is one of the finest, quality built, comfortable and luxurious B&B I've ever stayed in! Our party had 2 front sea view rooms and 1 upstairs standard room and all the rooms were spacious and excellent. The layout and design of the property really sets it apart from others. As it was apparently built as the family residence as well, there are several wonderful public rooms and spaces in which to sit, relax and enjoy. The breakfast is award winning! A large selection of cereals, juice, rolls, cheeses plus a menu to order fully cooked breakfasts. Set on a small bluff, the Greenmount has wonderful full views of the water and green pastures. It's an easy 5 minute walk onto main street or about 10 minutes to the waterfront, or you can drive as there's is adequate parking. The ownership and staff are friendly and very accomodating. When visiting Dingle, there is no better choice to stay than the Greenmount House. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Our accommodations at Greenmount House were the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Our room was spacious and modern, our bathroom was huge. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious. What really made it special was the service we received from one of the proprietors, Gary Curran. He welcomed us and provided really helpful info on things to do, places to eat, etc. from start to finish, he was there in the mornings and in the evenings. Highly recommend their guesthouse!

We had an amazing stay in Greenmount House in September 2014 for 3 nights. In fact we had stayed in the Skelligs on the first night and regretted not just booking into Grennmount for the 4 nights. We paid for a room with a sea view and it was worth every penny. The views every morning were stunning and we had a fabulous sun set on the Sat evening. The food is second to none and plenty of choice. I could not recommend Greenmount house more! We will definitely be back!

This guesthouse is the best I've experienced in Ireland and well worth the money. In September 2014 I visited Ireland for the sixth time. I have stayed in countless B&B and hotel throughout Ireland. My wife was with me at it was her second visit. This was our first stay in Greenmount. In a word, our experience was amazing. The location is convenient, with Dingle Town be a short 5-10 minute walk away along footpaths and not requiring you to cross any major busy roads. Off-street parking on the grounds of the guesthouse means you won't have to struggle to find parking while in Dingle. The grounds and building exterior are beautifully maintained. Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the very friendly owners Gary who gave us information about the accommodation, Dingle town, and the peninsula. He helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. The room was spacious, well lit, clean, with well maintained furnishings and a large comfortable bed. Hard wood floors throughout we hate walking on carpets in hotels/B&Bs the room. The room had a small round table with two comfortable chairs so you could sit and write, make a phone call, read, etc. The bathroom was large and the shower stall more than adequate. The bathroom was clean, modern, and in top working order. The bathroom had a skylight which helped brighten the space. Best bathroom I've ever used in Ireland. The best thing about the room was the small balcony with beautiful views of the town below and part of the harbor. The dining room had equally pleasant views and the food was incredible. The breakfast menu offered a wide variety including vegetarian options. I alternated between the Irish breakfast and French toast, both were carefully prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients. Service in the dining area was friendly and attentive. One of the owners Gary was available if you needed to speak with him and was always helpful and friendly. The staff overall are very kind and they take great care of the facilities and the rooms. I noticed that the entire house appeared clean, and is if it is routinely painted to keep a fresh appearance. The care put into the maintenance of this house shows. I highly recommend Greenmount to anyone visiting the Dingle peninsula.

This was our first visit to Ireland. The beauty and serenity of Dingle and Dingle Town were only surpassed by the warm welcome, efficiency and accommodating hospitality of the Currans and their staff at Greenmount House. Gary's Irish wit and wonderful suggestions for dining were very much appreciated. Mary's breakfasts were wonderful - fabulous coffee!! We arrived much too early for check-in, but everything was taken in stride - we were given breakfast and a quiet place to relax while our room was readied. We'll definitely be back and certainly recommend anyone's staying at Greenmount House.

My family of 4 recently had the great good luck to stay three nights at Greenmount House, and I can't crow loudly enough about its many pleasures! John, Mary, Maria, and Gary Curran have succeeded in combining the ultra professionalism of a smoothly run business with the friendliness, humor, attention, and graciousness of a happy home. We expected and found spacious & comfortable rooms, sumptuous breakfasts, and a perfect location but couldn't have anticipated how quickly we would feel relaxed and taken care of. Everyone bent over backward to be sure we got the most out of each day, offering tips about hiking trails, nightly music, pubs, and local sights. There are many, many reasons to go to Dingle, but chief among them are Greenmount House and the Curran family! Don't stay anywhere else!

We had a party of 8, 4 couples stay here for 3 nights in August. The place was excellent. Accommodations were well apportioned and everything in working order. WIFI worked everywhere - not something we had at any other of our accommodations. The hosts and their children were so helpful in all our needs from plotting out a course for the day to dinner recommendations and reservations to having a beer at the end of the day on the patio. There is no doubt that I would stay here again. My only reservation in recommending this to others is that it will make it harder for me to get a reservation next time I visit Ireland.

Fantastic! My son and I stayed at Greenmount House for two nights. At first I was a little disappointed that it's not right "in the heart" of the town. But, it really works out perfectly. It's only a 5 minute walk to all the middle of town. The tradeoff is the views from Greenmount House- fantastic. You look out over the harbor while you enjoy their terrific breakfast. We based our trip around availability at Greenmont House as it came highly recommended to us from a friend and we are so happy that we did. It was a wonderful way to start our exploration of the Wild Atlantic Way. We arrived later than what we had planned and John helped us quickly order pizza from the Blue Zone. The next morning they prepared a special breakfast menu for the 4th of July. The view and the location were perfect. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. Although my wife and I stayed just one night it would have been two if they hadn't been fully booked it was a night to remember. A beautifully appointed guesthouse in an ideal location, just far enough out of town for peace and quiet yet easy walking distance to all the fine Dingle cuisine. Our room was divine; quiet, even in a full guesthouse, comfortable, scrupulously clean and spacious with a lovely aspect looking over the small garden to the rear and a side view to the bay. The spotless bathroom was magnificent with a large walk-in shower and separate bath if preferred. Breakfast was a cullinary extravaganza with fresh fruits, cheeses, cakes, clafouti etc., plus a vast choice of freshly prepared options such as pancakes, omelettes, wraps and the more usual cooked breakfast items. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was great to see that even the owners' son was not too proud to get stuck in with the menial tasks such as serving breakfast! Whilst shopping in town we were even approached by one of the breakfast waitresses, Mary, who took the time and trouble to make it her business to chat - in many hotels staff would hide anywhere to avoid guests!! A wonderful experience, to be repeated as often as we possibly can. Well done Greenmount.

We booked in Dec 2013 for a June 19 stay. Arrived and the owner's son was apologetic as he wrote the wrong dates down in the ledger. We were very disappointed as we booked so early, but the son had booked us down the road, closer to the water and Dingle, at Emlagh House. We are glad he was able to get us accommodations and couldn't have been more pleased with Emlagh House....likely an upgrade as our room was huge, comfy beds, spectacular views and large, spa-type bathrooms.

My only regret was not being able to stay another night. This B&B surpassed my expectations. Incredible views from the spacious deck, large comfy rooms and a delicious cook to order breakfast. They are located perfectly, just a short stroll into town. I would go out of my way to stay there again.

This hotel is A+. Family owned and run, the hospitality is fantastic, as are the views from the room if you book one with a waterview. The breakfast, which is included, is excellent. We ordered lunch from the hotel and it was delicious. Situated a five minute walk from the town, it affords you the convenience but none of the noise. Gary is a wonderful host and is full of information to help you enjoy Ireland to its fullest. The town of Dingle is fun at night and has beautiful views during the day. Go!

We absolutely loved our time here. The place is beautiful and immaculate. Our family room was spacious and was just wonderful. The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. It is located just a block from the main part of town and was quiet. It was our first bnb and we loved everything about it. I would return again and again! My husband and I spent one night at the Greenmount House Guesthouse. This was the best B&B we stayed in, in all of Ireland. Our room was spacious and quiet with a panoramic view of the ocean. We had a great breakfast with a lovely ocean view as well. The innkeeper's son gave us a warm welcome and had great recommendations regarding pubs, restaurants and activities. We would have loved to stay a few more nights, and would stay here again if we ever get to Dingle again.

Fabulous Bed and Breakfast. Spent 2 nights and would most definitely return if I ever get back to Dingle. Bedrooms very lovely, some with fantastic views of lake and rolling hills. Relaxing spots to sit out side on the patio's with great views. Breakfast was very delicious with a lot of choices. Healthy walk down in to town, and back up the hill to get back to B&B. Host- Gary was very helpful with recommending a great tour guide, fantastic hikes and the pubs with the best music on various nights.

May 2014 - Lesley & Stanley Rigby Roleystone, Western Australia We recently had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful sea view suite at the luxurious Greenmount House Guesthouse in Dingle. This has to be one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in, well worth the extra money we paid. A real five star experience, including evening turn down service with chocolates on your pillow! However the location, view and quality food, bedding and service more than merit the high price. The food was divine, with a great range of excellent Irish fare. The service was top notch, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Just be prepared to pay for anything extra - laundry, soft drinks, extra snacks etc. In other B&B's we stayed in, both in Ireland the UK and the rest of Europe, many of these 'extras' were complimentary. We were often greeted with a fresh pot of tea and freshly baked cakes, or sherry and nibbles in the evening in some establishments - don't look for these at Greenmount unless you pay extra for them. Aside from the notes everywhere indicating the extra cost for items and services Greenmount is delightful and we wouldn't hesitate to return if budget wasn't an issue.

We cancelled the reservation at Greenmount House by return email on March 28 and again sent a reply email April 2 asking for confirmation of our cancellation. We've been charged for the full stay despite our timely cancellation. We have contacted our credit card company to contest the charge. Last year we had to cancel all our arrangements through out Ireland due to a medical emergency. In all cases this was successfully accomplished by sending a reply to our reservation email. Greenmount House does not appear to work the same as all other B&B's we've dealt with. I have sent an email to info@greenmount-house June 8 explaining our situation but have not heard back from them.

Without a doubt, our time spent in Dingle Town and the Dingle Peninsula was the highlight of our Ireland visit--in terms of scenery, history, and courtesies of the people/traditional Irish atmosphere. Our time in Dingle was made all the better by the hospitality and fine views of the Dingle harbor afforded by the Currans at Greenmount House. From the moment you enter this guesthouse the welcome begins! The family greet you with open arms and warm friendliness. The breakfast came highly recommended and it totally lived up to expectations - you can fill two cereal bowls with complete different mixtures in each - stewed apple and cloves - and a host of other homemade goodies to set you up for the day - beautiful setting looking out over Dingle bay - It lives up to its luxury accomodation status - turn down with chocolates! The view from Greenmount House at sunset is just stunning. We paid a bit extra for the seaview room and I'm so glad we did. This family-owned & operated guest house is beautiful. Our room was very nice - clean and very comfortable, with soft bedding, a towel warmer and heated floors in the bathroom, and turndown service at night. Breakfast in the morning was good. We left before their regular breakfast hours, but Gary was kind enough to set out some cold options for us early. The living room area is comfortable; we enjoyed watching a rugby game and chatting with Gary about the teams. The location is a bit off the main drag, but is just a short walk to the shops in town. The view from the place makes the location totally worth it. Room Tip: Sea view room costs a bit more but the view is worth it!

I booked the Greenmount House based on reviews and it far exceeded my expectations. We arrived earlier than check-in time in hopes of being able to drop off our bags while we checked out the town. Gary greeted us at the door and allowed us to check-in early we were lucky that our room was already ready. He took time out of his busy schedule to show us around the house, help us get settled in our room, offered us recommendations of things to do, places to see and pubs and restaurants to visit. The house is absolutely beautiful and has amazing views of the water. Our room and the rest house was well kept and very clean. The rooms are quiet, bed was very comfortable and we were able to catch up on some much needed sleep. The location of the house is a short walk into the heart of the town and close to many pubs, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was the best we had while visiting Ireland, and we had a lot of good breakfasts. There were many options available, everything was fresh and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place. I did not want to leave and hope I will be able to visit there again. Do yourself a favor and book your stay at the Greenmount House.

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Greenmount House. Our room was clean and very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the bay. The included breakfast was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Everyone working there was very kind and helpful in suggesting good shopping and sight seeing in the area. We will definitely be back the next time we are traveling in Ireland.

Perfect place for wonderful Dingle! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenmount House. It's location was ideal, beautifully located above the Dingle Harbor so your view of the harbor is wonderful and just a short walk into the center of town. The room was larger than most with a great bed and lots of room. The breakfast was outstanding, more than we ever expected and we would like to send a special thanks to one of the staff members who was kind enough to hunt down a wine bottle opener for us so we could enjoy a glass of wine both nights while sitting on our balcony after a great day of touring the area. We hope to return to Dingle again sometime and if we do, we will definitely return to Greenmount House Guesthouse!

We stayed here for two nights and it was the B&B highlight of our trip. What a fine place to stay. John warmly greeted us to his beautiful B&B and he obviously takes great pride and delight in what he does, and has been doing for over 20 years. Our garden room was very large, with an enormous bathroom with both a separate tub and shower. The bed was ultra comfortable and we took advantage of the laundry facilities which they offered. The breakfast was outstanding and all the guests very friendly. The breakfast room overlooks the water. Parking on site. It was a five minute walk into town. John gave us many tips about beautiful drives and restaurants. We cannot recommend the Greenmount House enough - you will be lucky to be one of their guests.

Our booking at Greenmount House was for two standard rooms two couples for five nights in August 2013. Our stay at Greenmount and Dingle exceeded our expectations. Greenmount feels pastoral cows grazing across the street, vistas across Dingle Bay but only about 5 minute walk to the nearest pub and 10 minute walk to the bustling harbor area of Dingle Town. Owners John and Mary and the entire staff were attentive and friendly from booking to checkout. Breakfast was a highlight. When in Dingle again, we will look no farther than Greenmount House for accommodation.

My wife and I stayed at the Greenmount House for three nights. It was a return visit after twelve years-far too long. It is simply delightful with great comfort, a remarkable sea view dining room where one eats gracious and outstanding breakfasts. The owners give such kind care to their guests. Dingle itself is a delight filled with the signs and sounds of a vibrant Irish language Gaeltacht. and the peninsula has outstanding natural beauty. After three weeks in Ireland, our favorite.

The Greenmount is within an easy walking distance to the town away from traffic and noise. Breakfast was outstanding - so many choices. I am very disappointed with this B&B. I requested a reservation and when the response came in I did not recognize the name of the person sending the email and therefore did not open it. There was never another attempt to reach me. Needless to say, I made other arrangements and then to my shock when I arrived home I saw that Greenmount House had charge me for the night. I responded to them telling them what happened and never hear from them, but had to pay the charge on my card. Based on this service, I would not suggest this B&B to anyone.

Just got back from a two night stay at Greenmount. This is pretty much a perfect B & B. We stayed in five B & B's while in Ireland and I would have to say that this was one of our nicest. It's worth the extra money for the sea view...the views from this place are out of this world!! The rooms and bathroom are top notch! Plus for $12 euros you can have your wash done and folded! A nice plus when you are traveling. The breakfasts are out of this world. Dingle is an amazing place and if I went back to Dingle, this is where I would stay. Clean, comfy and great views. The walk to town might be too much for some, although we were fine with it, except when it was raining and windy, where we took a cab for five euros. Getting a cab was quite easy, so that's not a problem at all. Great place!!!!!!

My daughter and I traveled to Ireland and wanted to book B&B's that were safe for two women traveling alone. We found Greenmount House to be just as it has been promoted. Doors were locked at night, the rooms were very nice, parking was easy to use, showers were hot, laundry service was available. It was a short walk into town on streets that were comfortable to be on. The host's were accommodating and created a feeling of true hospitality. Breakfast was very nice offering a wide range of quality selections even for vegetarians like ourselves. The only draw back I can report was the stuffiness of our room. We chose to pay a little less and have a room without a view. It had wonderful light from three large overhead windows but I neglected to ask if the windows could be opened until we left, my own doing, if I had it to do over I would have paid the extra and booked one of the rooms with a view, they were lovely. All in all, we were pleased to call Greenmount House "home base" for three nights of our stay.

Loved our visit to Greenmount House. John and Mary helped us a couple of times with questions about where to go for good food and music and also delivered on good directions to get us around. Our bathroom was luxurious and the view was great. The beds in the "family" room we had are positioned like Willie Wonka's grandparents--that turned out to be a source of humor, though. The room was very comfortable and cozy and quiet. The scones at breakfast were excellent, as was the local honey that was served. We loved our days in Dingle and we are happy we got spend our nights at Greenmount.

We stayed at Greenmount Guest House for a few days in March of 2013, with our 8-year-old and 11-month-old baby. The rooms are absolutely lovely, the beds very comfortable, and the view unmatched. The breakfasts were terrific -- the pancakes and French toast are evocative of crepes and were lip-smacking good. The 8-year-old got terribly sick while we were in Dingle, from what we think was rotavirus, so sick indeed, that we decided to fly home early from Ireland, and the Currans could not have been kinder to us about the whole experience, even offering to box up and ship some of our luggage back if needed we had flight complications. I would return in a heart beat. Absolutely first rate place to stay.

My wife and I were on a 3 week trip in Great Britain that took us from London, up through Scotland, and down through Ireland. We stayed in a total of 7 hotels and 9 bed and breakfasts during our trip. Communication was excellent with every place we stayed. I will focus on; the room, the common area, the host, quality of wifi which was important to me and quality of the breakfast. The room was beautiful, facing the ocean. We were given the choice of two different rooms when checking in. We chose the one on the ground floor with a patio looking down into Dingle. This bnb had the most space in the room and common areas of any we stayed in. There were at least 3 separate living rooms for guests to relax. They also had a bar which was unique. The hosts and their daughter were delightful. One of the best wifi signals I got during my time in Ireland. There several choices of hot breakfast, all cooked to order and delivered tableside. The dining area had a stunning view with windows on three sides of the room. We stayed in a different bnb the night before in Dingle because we arrived a day early. We wish we had come up the hill to see if they had room for us. Highly recommended if in Dingle.

I stayed at the Greenmount for 2 nights in October. I was travelling via public transportation and when I emailed the B&B about the distance from the bus stop to the Greenmount....John emailed back and said he'd pick us up. Very cool especially since it ended up raining that day. The accomodations were incredible. We had a seaside view with a balcony overlooking the bay. The breakfast in the morning was great. I travelled for 2 weeks and of the 7 places I stayed this was by far the best. From the accomodations....to the breakfast...to the owners. Ohhh and the town of Dingle was beautiful. The Greenmount's facilities and rooms were much larger and more modern than expected considering it is considered an Inn/Guesthouse. The staff were friendly and attentive. The evening turn down service was a nice touch and surprise. At first glance the location appears to be a bit off the beaten path but it's actually a perfect balance of being right on the edge of Dingle's restaurant's, pubs, and other activities while offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. One nit pick was the scorching hot water from the taps that was sometimes difficult to cool quickly. Countering that however was the fact that the water pressure was excellent and something that most North Americans will appreciate and feel at home. Overall a great balance of small guesthouse/inn personal hospitality reading rooms with wine poured by the owners and amenities/services often associated with larger hotels laundry service, turn down service, etc..

Excellent place! I would stay there again without question. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful and accomodating which was especially important to us with a 3 yr child. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was well equipt and had a teriffic view. Only downside was weak signal Wi-Fi in the guestrooms but strong connections available in the common areas. Thanks for a great holiday!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Greenmount House. The room with a view was stunning; the down comforter was, well, comforting; the shower was the top shower in Ireland!

Greenmount is an immaculately presented B&B in a great location. It is situated just outside Dingle itself so you have fantastic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape but it only takes 10 minutes to walk into the town itself. The rooms are large, bright and airy with a modern classic finish and very comfortable beds and have everything you could wish for. Breakfast is excellent with a fantastic choice menu which is up-dated daily leaving you looking forward to the next days breakfast. I would certainly recommend staying at this wonderful B&B.

We recently stayed at the Greenmount for two nights. This was a return visit and we are pleased to say that the quality of accommodation, including breakfast, remain outstanding. Our room was impeccable and service was attentive and helpfull. Finally, the Greemount House' s location is perfect in relation to the town of Dingle.

Located exactly where you want a b&b. Less than 5 minute walk from pubs and shops So perfect so you don't have to park in town And it is a nice walk to downtown, But separate enough So it is peaceful and quiet. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our stay

This guesthouse was a highlight of our two-week stay in Ireland. The Greenmount is a short walk to attractions in Dingle Town and has a beautiful view of the bay. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well-appointed and spacious. Breakfast options include full Irish breakfast, pancakes, fish, scones, fresh fruit, porridge, cereals, cold-cuts, and cheese. The owner, John, is welcoming and laden with advice on the Dingle Peninsula, where he has lived since childhood. Get reservations, as the guesthouse fills up fast.

Spent 2 nights here in early Sept, had one of the upstairs rooms with great views of Dingle Bay, large room with sitting area, mini-fridge & balcony. Nicely appointed, roomy bath. Easy downhill walk to town with pubs & restaurants. Beautiful, clean, and great breakfast buffet plus hot menu in a windowed breakfast room with views of the bay & town. We splurged on the superior room, but I'm sure the basic double would have been just as comfortable if cost is a factor. Excellent spot to explore the town & peninsula, John & Mary Curran were welcoming hosts.

This was our second trip to Ireland. We had stayed at the Greenmount House during our first trip 10 years ago. We made a point of returning here this year. We are very glad we did. Even though we were only able to stay for one night, it was extremely pleasant. Perhaps we'll be able to return again someday.

I stayed with my two adult daughters and had a great time. The room and bathroom was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and our host was very helpful and responsive to our requests. My only disappointment was that I'd been contacted in advance by email to ask whether I wanted a double bed and a single or three singles and despite requesting the latter was given the former! However the bed was kingsize so plenty of space for my daughter and I. I found Ireland generally expensive compared to the UK and this applied to this B&B as well.In the UK I would have paid about 20% less for similar luxury accommodation.

This was a great location, about a 10 minute walk into the town so you didnt have to worry about driving and parking. We spent 1 day in Dingle while driving around the country on a vacation and it was about right. If you enjoy hiking, spend another day as there are plenty of trails all over the place in the hills. The house was very clean, food was excellent and the owners are great! Free wifi is in the house but it does not reach every guest room which isnt a big deal but just so you know. A great quiet location away from the noise downtown and very accessible in and out of the town, would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. The atmosphere there makes it feel that you are among friends, and the food and accommodations are flawless. I have two suggestions for improvement. One is simple to fix: The directions posted on the Web site are not accurate and need to be updated. The second may require a bit of an investment: Improve the WI-FI service so that guests can use their laptops and IPads in their rooms. This was a struggle for several guests at Greenmount when we were there, and I believe it will be an essential component of any 4-Star property in the future. Thanks to the Currans for a lovely stay. Truely outstanding experience; it was the highlight of our 12 day trip to Ireland. The location is ideal; a short walk to dining and entertainment but the B&B is very quiet. My stay at Greenmount House was amazing! What a gorgeous property! Everything was immaculate and the service was top notch. The highlight of my stay was breakfast. Oh, and the bubble baths in the lovely soaking tub! The breakfast room offers gorgeous views of Dingle and offers 5-star meals. First, there is a buffet of yummy delights for you to start off with, and then you can order a full size entree off their gourmet menu. Every dish I had was excellent. The owners, Mary and John, go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. John even drove me himself to catch a horse back ride one morning and also to the bus stop on my day of departure. They are very accommodating! I can't wait to go back to Dingle and stay with Mary and John again at Greenmount. Don't hesitate to book your stay with them. You will not regret it. Best lodging in Dingle hands down!
