Our stay at Virginia's was pleasant. They are conveniently located in town, walkable to restaurants, pubs and shopping. There is even a mini stonehenge type place close by that is peaceful and secluded, actually, in the early morning it's a pay on your honor type thing for admittance. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and generally quiet. Has the feel of a narrow 3 story place and the owners, both affable and accommodating are the ones making/serving breakfast in the morning you place your order the night before. The "white pudding" was the best I found while in Ireland tastes a little more like T'giving stuffing to me!.
I would have no problem staying here again -- cost was reasonable when compared with our other B&B's on the trip. I certainly know that whenever I make it back to Ireland, we will go through this area again -- the drive to Killarney through the national park area is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed Muckross House. Kinsale was a favorite though, and the drive there from Kenmare was also quite nice ... so, we'd be sure to go back to both!
