Fantastic stay at The Meath Arms. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were very accommodating and any query I had before the stay they emailed me back extremely quickly. We attended a wedding nearby and I used the hairdressers opposite and again these were fantastic. Overall we had a wonderful stay and if for any reason we need to stay in this area again I would definitely stay at The Meath Arms.

Stayed over for a wedding in Ballybeg House. Excellent service in restaurant on day of arrival and fresh breakfast was really welcome, I would recommend the Meath Arms and will be back to use as a base to explore Wicklow.

We just love staying here. The Inn is situated in a village nestled in the Wicklow mountains.Easy reach of all the attractions in the area. You get a wonderful welcome .The breakfasts can not be faulted.Freash fruit ,cereals ,fruit compote with honey yogurt and of course choice of full Irish cooked breakfast.Be sure to ask Paddy for his special poached egg!The grain Store restaurant attached is worth a visit too .Overall ,AClean and lovely place to stay.

A lovely Inn and the nicest staff. Paul picked us up in Iron Bridge after a long day of hiking the Wicklow Way. He also gave us a ride to the train depot the next morning. He was very kind. Our dinner at the Grainstore was the best we had in our entire time in Ireland. Simply delicious! Our only complaint is that the room we were given was directly above the Pub on a Friday evening. We were kept awake until 15:00 with music, noise and the smell of smoke. It seemed we were the only people staying at the Inn so not sure why he gave us this room. Other than that we would definitely visit again - we would just request a different room.

Had a great two night stay in the Meath Arms. Clean, comfy and the breakfast was top notch. Also highly recommend the restaurant 'The Grainstore'. Very convenient location for anyone attending weddings in Ballybeg House, and a trio to the Vale of avocado is a must in the autumn. Beautiful

We attend a lot of weddings in the area and Meath Arms is the nicest place to stay. It is a lot better value for us as we are flying from London for each wedding but the rooms are so nice and are such a high standard that we don't feel like we are compromising. Would highly recommend the Meath Arms.

We loved our stay in a triple room. Very comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in old world dinning room. Sister and brother-in-law had lovely suite, and really enjoyed the breakfast too.

I stayed on the Meath Arms for one night while attending a wedding elsewhere and was very impressed with this deceptive premises. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked and served in a lovely old dining room. The furniture in the dining room was antique and there was a beautiful warm fire with an enticing sofa in front of it and the daily paper available. This felt like a place one wants to stay longer than one intended. The town also deserves a wander about. Hope to return and would highly recommend this value for money gem.

Staff were very nice,a bit disappointed no tv or tea/coffee facilities in room.Room very cold when I arrived but was sorted when I went to find staff and he did bring me a hot drink so I eventually thawed out!A great power shower.Breakfast was nice and Aughrim itself is really lovely.
