This is without a doubt the best place to stay in Castleisland. Breda is a wonderful host and is full of information on where to eat, etc.
Her breakfast is sumptuous. The room and bed were quite comfortable.
There is no question that we will stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here in 2004 on our 10th anniversary trip around Ireland. At that time Tailors Lodge was the nicest B&B either of us had ever stayed in. So, when I had the opportunity to travel around the southwest of Ireland with my daughter this year I again booked a night with Breda. After 13 years and many more nights spent in B&Bs, Tailors Lodge is still the finest B&B I have ever stayed in. Quite possibly the finest in all of Ireland. Thank you Breda O'Sullivan for another amazing stay. We will be back!

Such a lovely place to stay. Our hostess was absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived.
Breakfasts were delicious and so huge that we really didn't need to worry too much about having anything for lunch!
It was a very convenient place to stay for exploring both Killarney and the Dingle peninsula.
We didn't have time to investigate Ring of Kerry or Kenmare but we have an excuse to return plus there's the fiddling to try out!.

This was absolutely the BEST B&B we have ever stayed in! Breda the owner was so friendly. The accommodations were impeccable you could eat off the floor - it was so clean!! The location was perfect - day trips to Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Killarney National Park. The town of Castleisland was so wonderful and inviting. A nice leisurely walk to town from the B&B. Breakfast was homemade and delicious! We enjoyed our stay here better than Dromoland Castle!

This was our second visit to Tailors B and B. Our first was eleven years ago and when we were planning a return visit this was the only place we really wanted to make sure we stayed. We were so eased to find it was just as wonderful this visit as our first. We stayed in the Family room. Very spacious with one double and two single beds. Plenty of room and a very nice roomy bath enough suite. Beautifully kept. The proprietor is so warm and caring. We felt we were treated like friends and family. She makes a wonderful breakfast and serves it in a warm and welcoming breakfast room. When we return we will definitely be staying there again.

Had a lovely, albeit brief, stay. Breakfasts were lovely, accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breda was very welcoming.
It would, however, have been useful to know in advance that credit/debit cards are not accepted when checking out.

A wonderful experience! Extremely clean and comfortable B&B with wonderful hosts. The location was somewhat off the main roads but the setting was quiet and peaceful, with a small town with restaurants, pubs, and market within a short drive. A delicious Irish breakfast served with a cheerful smile topped off our stay.

A child often wants more than an adult. So if a child is happy, the B&B must be perfect. I really enjoyed this place, especially the breakfast. My mum and dad totally agree with my 5-star-rating!!
I would love to come back.

Lovely and cozy B & B. Super nice people. Room was great and that bed was pure heaven. Breda and her husband are very gracious hosts. They have a beautiful home.
Only down side is 15 euro cab rides from and back to Kerry airport, so not as near as expected.

We do considerable travel in Europe and this was one of the best small accommodations that we have seen. The rooms are spacious and refurbished on a rotating basis. Breakfast was excellent. The hostess was friendly and accommodating for our requests. She was good a giving information about local events. Castleisland is a very small town, but it makes a good base for exploring other parts or Kerry.

Lovely home, very friendly and energetic host, and a great price. Castleisland does not have a lot to offer, but it's only a 20 minute drive to Killarney, so a good option for a "home base". We had better accommodations at a lower rate than what we had in other B&Bs closer to more of the tourist destinations.

I stayed with Breda in Oct. This is a fantastic place, better than most 4star hotels I have stayed at in Europe. She provides you with a choice of breakfasts,i had the pancakes which were excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. Large modern bath. If you are on your way to Tralee or killarney, stop here.

Tailors Lodge is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the owner, Breda O'Sullivan, is warm and welcoming. The location is ideal for a short walk into Castleisland or a day touring around Kerry.

During our 2 and a half week trip to Ireland and the UK we stayed at quite a few B&Bs and guesthouses but none of them left us as impressed as the stay at Talyors Lodge. The rooms were absolutely spotless and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the warm welcome Breda, the owner, provided us with and her hospitality throughout our stay.
Beyond that the breakfast was just amazing. Many thanks again to Breda for this unforgettable time! Unfortunately we could only stay for one night! We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again!

I travel a lot and have stayed in a wide variety of hotels many 5 star and B&B's. Tailors Lodge is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The service is excellent, Breda the owner gave us a very warm welcome and the breakfast was better than any 4 star hotel I've stayed at. Breda will accommodate dietary requirements too. My friend and I were really very impressed.

A Fantastic Stay! We arrived during a rain storm. Breda greeted us with a huge smile and her husband helped with our luggage. The room was wonderful. Plenty of room, the heater worked well, the bathroom was clean and larger than I expected. It was our anniversary and Breda left a bottle of wine and a card in our room!! We were there to find info on my husbands grandmother. Breda gave us directions to the church and told us who to speak with. If we head back again, we will be staying again!

A very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely home, very clean, exceptional breakfast .
I would recommend Tailor's Lodge to anyone.
You won't be disappointed.
Oh... If you check location on google maps, beware, it shows location about half a km too far to the east. ! House is actually on the R557 , last house on right out of town.

Tailor Lodge is a first class B&B. Starting with a warm welcome from the owners and care taken to ensure we had everything we needed.
Everything was a very high standard and well maintained. After a good night sleep, we had a fabulous cooked breakfast, to set us up for our onward journey.
Without question one of the best B&B’s in Ireland. Thank you.

We stayed for five nights at Tailors Lodge at the beginning of June and were truly impressed.
Breda is such a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble.
We did not get there on the first night until about 10.30pm and
Breda gave us such a warm welcome. She made us a pot of tea and some delicious scones.
The accomodation is clean and well presented and in a peaceful location. The breasfast is divine.
We will definately go back.

I have stayed in a few B&Bs Tailors Lodge was the most welcoming. Breda knew who I was when I walked threw the door. Room clean, bright, and warm. Every morning breakfast was delicious. Breda I will return to Ireland and I will come to visit you again. Thank you for the recommendations to the local restaurants.

This was our first trip to Ireland and one of the highlights of this trip was meeting Breda and her husband James and staying at Tailors Lodge. From the outset Breda made us feel at home and for each of the 5 days we spent there we felt like we were in our own home. The hospitality of Breda was just super! She is a fantastic cook the breakfasts were out of this world and very helpful when asked about the local area. Since we were flying out of Shannon airport early our last day, she even located accomodations for us just 10 minutes from the airport. When we return to Ireland, and we definitely will, Tailors Lodge will be our home away from home again!! I encourage you to stay there if you are in the area. You won't be sorry!!!
