Lovely room. Very comfortable beds. Girl who greeted us on arrival was very welcoming and pleasant. Great having continental breakfast early as we had to leave early for boat. Only negatives is soap didn't pump, shower gel dispenser on wall empty, carpet bit torn where leg of bed is. Overall grand place to stay.

very professional service, esp. answering questions, and accommodating special requests such as very early breakfast. Two issues: 1 the automatic ventilator in the bathroom creates a hurricance-level noise and needs to be replaced; 2 I was not given the special house code to access Wi-Fi, and when I really needed to use it on Saturday night nobody on the staff was around to direct me about where to find it. I eventually got the information from another guest.

Clean room with a good bed. Very warm, heartily and familiar athmosphere. Unfortunately our room had the window to the street so that we couldn´t sleep with tilted window - with closed window the noise was ok.Every time consistently :-

Perfect short Holidaytrip for 3 Days with a fantastic view from our room. The Guesthouse is very clean and the Personal is very very friendly. A perfect Place at the Sea Not far away from the Beach and even the City of Dublin. Besten Dank

The Ferry View Guesthouse was great. It was only a 1 night stop before catching the ferry to Ireland. This Guesthouse was a perfect choice and it was only a short drive to the port. It was also only a short walk to lovely restaurants and a short walk to the Clontarf Castle Hotel. The staff were fantastic and as we were leaving early next morning, breakfast was all set up for us in the kitchen. Wonderful.

The employee was very friendly and helpful!! She patiently answered all our questions! The price was ok for Dublin - we know, that the prices in the city are generally quite high. The view is nice, the bus-connection is just ok, because the latest bus from the city centre departs quite early. The breakfast was good.

Bed and Breakfast très satisfaisant.

Ferry View Guesthouse is located next to the sea and is only 5 minutes walk from Clontarf Castle which suited me. Breakfast is excellent. Room is okay although so small particular issues such as the kettle not reaching the plug from the desk easily resolved. After paying up I thought that they could charge an extra 5 euros without making the price feel unreasonable.

The hostess Agnes was very accommodating and looked out for our wellbeing. The room was quiet and my bed was comfortable. I appreciated that there were several area restaurants in the neighborhood that were good. The bus service was very easy to use so it was easy to get around.

Warm welcome, kind staff and off-street parking. Comfortable for the price. The shower was poor. The toilet is loud and reloads slowly. The rooms to front stayed noisy from street traffic all night. The wifi is terrible.

Comfortable, adequate facilities for the price. Welcoming staff and off-street parking. There is a need to upgrade wi-fi so that it can be accessed from the bedrooms. As so many guests are likely to be catching early ferries, it would be a good idea for a member of staff to be available to provide a cooked breakfast from 7.00 am

the price should have included a full, hot irish breakfast that the other b&b's in Ireland offer. two of the parties in our group were lost in the Dublin area and the lady who answered the phone was not able to provide adequate directions to the guesthouse. she should have some standard directions available in this situation. the location was beautiful! our 3 rooms did not have hot water, and after repairs to the plumbing 1 of the rooms still did not have hot water. 2 of our 3 parties left a day early because of this.

This was my family's second stay at Ferry View. It was excellent then and still is. We returned for a final night on August 15, and as usual we were warmly welcomed and very well fed! We would certainly recommend Ferry View to our friends and will return ourselves in the future.

Had a lovely night at the Ferry View. I was very tired after the long journey from Australia and was very happy to arrive there. I was greeted by a very gracious host and showed to my room which was very comfortable. Lovely en-suite and comfortable bed. Great location by the sea and easy access to city and a short walk to the The Yacht bar for a great meal. Highly recommend

Checked in at 5pm, the room was freezing. The shower was really poor and the shower door was falling off. The noise from the road and overhead made sleep nearly impossible. The breakfast was disgusting, with both blue and black mould on the uncovered bread. There was no atmosphere and everything was done by a very young unfriendly foreign girl. The only positive was that it was clean. No battery in the tv remote control. Got a knock at the bedroom door at 11.02 telling us to check out! I would not recommend or return.

Warm welcome. Nice room but very very cold in November and so it was not possible to get much sleep. Extra heater was supplied but this was not suitable for use throughout the night. Quiet location at back of house but could hear every sound from upstairs room - other guests were not noisy but sound seemed to travel easily. Disappointed to have such an early breakfast - 9.30am cut off on a weekend should be reviewed.

I have used the Ferry View many times in the past, and I have always found it good value for money. However this time I was disappointed with Breakfast as I had to leave for the Ferry before 8am .We were offered a continental Breakfast which consisted of cereal and fruit .Some cold meats and cheese would have been a little more filling .Also I think it would have been nice for a member of the staff to be about We had to help ourselves in the kitchen . The table was small and it was laid for 3 people with very little space for 3 chairs. We were unable to close the Curtains in Room 8 properly.

Helpful and hospitable. For my first visit to Ireland what a great place to stay. Great suggestions of where to go and help on how to get there. Plus super nice area of the city. Delicious breakfast - only ate one more meal each day I stayed.

Although clean, reasonably priced and convenient to the bus route from Dublin City Center, this B&B lacked the warmth of a traditional B&B. We met the owner while she was folding towels in the laundry room, otherwise she left the details of the business to a woman who was quite nice, but had some difficulty understanding English. We felt that we missed out on an authentic i.e. warm, personable Irish B&B experience.

We really just slept at the Ferryview because we left very early in the morning and came back late in the evening the two days we stayed. The location was very convenient to the train station, which could be reached by bus or taxi, with the bus stop across the street for heading into town and just down the block a short distance for the return trip. The innkeepers arranged a taxi for us to the train station. They also left breakfast for our early departures. The B&B was clean, but I was a bit surprised that no service was provided from day to day the bed was not made the second day we were there. Perhaps this is typical. All in all, we had a pleasant, but short, stay. I would stay again if we are back in Dublin. I loved the park across the street for an evening stroll.

The accommodation was fine except general maintenance checks of the rooms is required. The double room had one bulb gone, no heating in the room and the toilet seat did not stay in an upright position when required. My request for an early breakfast was not acknowleged when booking.

I have no complaint about this B&B, Staff were friendly and helpful. The fry up was very nice using good sausages and rashers of bacon. The location is great. The room was spotless although the room was a little dated and a longer flex needed for the kettle. But overall very happy with my stay there and would definitely use again

Bus stop a bit further than indicated. Staff was friendly rooms were clean thoug the rooms to front stayed noisy from street traffic all night. No amenities in room, like soap shampoo lotion. I asked for some and was given an antiseptic hand wash from kitchen. Views lovely from front, great running /walking path right across the way and .2 mi is located choice of three eating establishments as well as grocery and pharmacy. Wifi only accessible in front living room, the one pictured with fireplace and television. I saw someone trying to check in for a few hours but there was no one to offer her entrance or keys. She had a weeks reservation and a person finally showed after several telephone voice messages.

Ferry View Guest House is in an ideal location with a bus stop nearby for access to Dublin. The road is very busy with traffic which is noisy during the evening but the noise goes away so sleeping isn't a problem. There is and entrance next door which leads to a sports club, and every time a car enters a steel gate runner clatters, Our room was next to the drive so it was noisy all evening. The room was clean and comfortable, but only had one chair, and the breakfast was good. the staff were friendly too. I would return and stay here again.

I spent four night at the Ferry View Guesthouse earlier this month. With an Irish breakfast included, the cost came out to about $50 a night, which was more than affordable. The bus stop for the 14 is near by if you want to get to the downtown area, which made the Ferry View more than ideal as it allowed easy access but without the noise of downtown. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, with sheets and blankets instead of a duvet. I'd gladly stay there again.

The Ferry View Guesthouse was satisfactory in all respects It was clean and comfortable Breakfast was well prepared and the food was plentiful The two young women who worked there were very accommodating, but since both were newcomers to Ireland they really were unable to offer a great deal of information about the locality We would happily recommend a stay at this facility
