The owner was amazing, so nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the location was perfect. Dingle is so wonderful. the town and food were great!
I only wish they would do a few things to update things. It would make a huge difference.
Mattress toppers for the hard beds, newer sheets, update bathrooms, change the carpet, updated blankets
I wish them luck, I am sure it is hard to have a seasonal business.
It is a lovely place but really needs some updating

Tired B&B. Shower was tiny and mildew present in bath and skylights. Towels had seen a better day. Carpets were worn. Linens were scratchy. Location was great! Breakfast was nice!

We absolutely loved our one night stay here! This is a very basic, no frills place, but that is exactly what we needed and the price was extremely reasonable. Check in was easy and pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, we had everything we needed in the room, and the breakfast was very nice. This place had nicer service and basic amenities than some of the other much more expensive places we stayed in Ireland. We do not have a single complaint and would highly recommend staying here.

Great location to walk to town, restaurants & entertainment - across the street from the marina - the rooms are clean with bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was from the side entrance - no real view but certainly comfortable. Once the tour busses leave - the town is quiet and enjoyable so plan your day accordingly.

Three other travelers and myself stayed at Dingle Marina Lodge for two nights and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay there. Thomas was extremely helpful with our booking and also when we arrived. The location is central and close to some wonderful and reasonably priced restaurants, which Thomas also directed us to. It is also across from the marina, hence the name, which is very picturesque. The rooms were a good size, and the bathrooms and showers were perfect. Lastly, the breakfast, which was included, was fantastic! If I am in Dingle again I will stay at Dingle Marina Lodge.

Dingle was a favorite stop on our trip to Ireland chiefly because of the lovely Marina Lodge. We had the family room at the top front of the inn which was perfect for us and our two teen sons. Thomas's breakfast was top notch as were his recommendations. The Marina Inn is located across from the marina with easy access to a large green where our kids enjoyed throwing frisbee and many seemed to take advantage of the paved path for walking and jogging. It was very convenient to all the must-sees in Dingle, and the private parking made get out onto Slea Head Drive and Conor Pass a breeze. We wished for more time in Dingle and it's a prime target should we make it back that way any time soon. We hope we will!

Check in was seamless and the lady behind the desk bent over backwards to help. We were a little early for check in but it did not make a difference. So nice to have a parking space also. The accommodation was clean, the room & bed a good size and the en-suite was spotless. The hosts were very welcoming & could supply information if required. While there was no full Irish breakfast, it was more than made up for by the options that were on the menu... the scrambled eggs were very tasty!
We stayed for 2 nights & will hopefully return there again- I would recommend this to friends... Many Thanks!
There was enough parking spaces at the side & back of the lodge but get there early. It is in an ideal location just a couple of minutes from restaurants, pubs, shops. A nice, quiet area in the town & no real noise.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was my Sister Katherine that chose your accomodation for us, as it was her email she gave you when doing the booking. She is good at that, as she worked in the Tourist office in Caherciveen & Killorglin for a few years. She no longer works due to ill health but she is hoping to go and stay with you some night in late April or early May.
We would have no hesitation recommending Marina Lodge to our friends and relatives.

Though well situated within walking distance to restaurants and pubs, this is NOT a B&B as you would think. It's just a hotel- and a rather poor one at that. The wifi didn't work- and the hostess pretended it was a "new issue", you would have to sit in the hallway on the stairs to get wifi. The accommodations were pretty scarce- 2 tv channels Not that we were watching tv.. but still! and there was mold above the shower. Really not that impressed. The rooms were large, but completely barren and lacking any personality- one of our windows was broken and air was coming in- I tried to close it, but the window almost fell in on me as a unit. Sorry! People were nice though..

After receiving an email from Dingle Marina Lodge regarding check in which appeared to make the whole check in process quite a hassle for a couple who were simply touring around Ireland without a daily set schedule — we decided to stay elsewhere where we would not be held to a clock and the staff's convenience. Very unprofessional, it appeared. So we booked elsewhere and promptly sent an email cancelling our reservation with Dingle Marina Lodge. We sent this cancellation several days before we event departed for Ireland on March 5. Our reservation was for the 14th. We did promptly receive a confirmation of our cancellation. Matter closed, or so we thought. Now, back in the U.S. after two weeks in Ireland, some 9 days after the cancelled booking, we get emails from this lodge demanding payment for the cancelled booking! Claiming now that we never cancelled, they were trying to process a payment as a no-show! Thankfully, our credit card company would not authorize it as we had let them know our travel dates and clearly, we weren't in Ireland any longer. What followed were a series of tense exchanges while they continued to claim we never cancelled. On our part, we had deleted everything from them, including the original booking — so as not to clutter our travel file with non-relevant emails. Their emails were rude, demanding, and incompetent. They seemed to feel it was our responsibility to prove to them we had cancelled, rather than theirs to have a record of it! Since there had been emails from them and back from us about check in, and then the cancellation — you have to ask yourself what kind of business doesn't keep a record of these things. It is not our responsibility at this point to "prove it" — while they claim ignorance! Nor should I need to spend my valuable time trying to! I thank you for sending me this review request, as this sort of rude and unprofessional behavior makes my blood boil. So much for Irish hospitality at this place.
Two points: 1 We travel all the time and know good service and professionalism. 2 I have worked in the hospitality industry for several years in the recent past — at resorts in Vail, Colorado, a state park in Custer, South Dakota, and in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. No employer I ever had would tolerate this kind of conflictive communication and rude, demanding behavior from any staff member for even one guest client. They would be fired. Since this is probably the owner or managers doing this — who 'ya gonna call
I then went and looked at their reviews on TripAdvisor and saw many, many complaints of rude and unprofessional behavior by the staff here. Uncooperative, unwelcoming, etc., plus shabby lodging with noisy guests and huge parking issues. Whew! So glad we did not stay! And believe me, we are not paying any phantom fee claiming we didn't cancel! That takes a lot of nerve and a complete lack of customer service skills. Pointed out in other reviews. Total thumbs down on this place.

This lodge is located at the end of the commercial district, so it's accessible but not loud. We had a large room overlooking the marina and it was wonderful. Breakfast was substantial delicious, and they had cook to order options, plus a buffet of breads, fruits, cheeses, and yoghurts. The only drawback of our room was some overhead noise in the morning. We enjoyed our stay at the Dingle Marina Lodge. We were traveling with a family of four 2 adults, 2 children aged 10 and 12 plus 2 additional adults who needed single rooms and they were able to accommodate all of us. Dingle Marina Lodge is a great place to stay in Dingle. IT is right on the waterfront and in the centre of the town, so you can walk everywhere and will not need to take a taxi. It is a short drive to Dún Chaoin, from where the beautiful Blasket Islands can be seen. I would certainly stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guesthouse. The owner was also lovely, and very helpful with dining and pub suggestions.

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge one night in May 2015. We received excellent service and had a lot of questions answered by the staff. This is a good location and we were able to walk to most of the places we were interested in. The room was quite nice and we had no issues. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. Like a few other Irish B&Bs we stayed at, they issue a single physical key for the lock, which must be used to lock both inside and outside. If my wife wanted to stay in the room but I had to leave, I would have to lock her in, which is not safe in the case of a fire. So, not an ideal scenario and I'd recommend they change the inside lock to one that doesn't require a key. Other than that, this was a great stop and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

When an owner proudly says "we don't do a cooked traditional breakfast, as you must be sick of them by now", personally this is a warning. I cannot fathom why, other than to cut down on expense and effort, this wouldn't be an option. It's a B&B. I can make the choice of breakfast, which is what I am paying for. The owners Thomas & Katharine go out of their way at every opportunity to be helpful and to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Location as the name implies is right across from the marina so you can take a nice morning stroll on the pier before doing the town or driving into the peninsula. Ask Thomas for any local color before heading out and he'll give you tips to make your time away from the lodge as nice as your time there.

After making a booking enquiry/reservation through this B&Bs site i was later contacted by my bank to let me know a third party had accessed my account details through what the fraud squad believe is the Marina Lodges "insecure site". Out of respect for other future users of this site i contacted Dawn owner of Dingle Marina Lodge to explain what had happened. I was met by general rudeness which turned into vicious abuse upon explanation of the situation. I have never felt more threatened in my life and i urge you to find other accomadation around Dingle. I would not feel comfortable sharing a roof with this unstable person.

Hair was all over shower floor and bathroom was very dirty. The next day when I told the manager, all she said was "sorry." Not good enough.

We only wish that we could have stayed more nights...it came at the end of our trip to Ireland.
Dawn, the proprietor, was wonderful and available. Everything was neat and clean as a whistle. The location is right there on the water overlooking harbor marina, in walking distance to all of downtown........to the shops, restaurants, pubs, churches. And it is reasonably priced which includes a full breakfast.
We'll be back!

Great B&B!! Clean, homely and breakfast was excellent with a good choice and not just a fry! Location couldn't have been better. Would definitely stay again if down in Dingle.

I was leading a group of 12 American university students, and we were "bumped" by our other accommodations three weeks before our arrival. Fortunately, someone recommended the Dingle Marina Lodge as a replacement. Dawn responded immediately to my desperate inquiry, and the accommodations proved to be perfect for our purposes. There were a variety of rooms in different configurations, all of which were clean and in excellent condition. The only drawback to the rooms was that some had only one key.
The full breakfast was excellent in terms of both variety and quality, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The students loved the location and everything else, except for the WiFi, which was offline for hours at a time. All in all, these were very good accommodations and good value for the price.

This B&B was very clean and bright, easy to find and perfect for a weekend in Dingle. Dawn was very helpful when we arrived. If I go back to Dingle I will look no further than The Marina Lodge

a very friendly contact throughout; the service staff was very attentive in an uncomplicated way They even had humour and you could have a short joke
Same thing as in other places: the personality of the characters make it!
The location is ideal: nearly central, but still quiet; it´s possible to reach any target in Dingle by foot within minutes or a few steps Even the bus is reachable for trips in seconds, same as the tourist office
I was quite happy there

Nice place in a lovely town The location is perfect, really at the bay and very close to the city center 2mins walk
B&B is very nice and quiet
Private parking lot just aside the B&B
Even if we got there very late we were warmly welcomed The staff was helpful and kind
Two minor cons: instead of a double bed we got two single beds attached each other; the first night we got only one towel I guess it was just am oversight

clean room, but sometimes used furniture
Breakfast very average product quality fair The bread was moldy, and nothing in stock for breakfast
