1 Upper Leeson Street,
I am sure this would have been a nice hotel however when i arrived it transpired there was no booking and the owners informed me they had disassociated themselves from this website sometime ago.
Do not try to book through this website as you will receive confirmation of the booking and then be left very disappointed at the end.
Just a note of thanks to the owners of Leeson Bridge, who very helpfully found alternative hotels in the area with accommodation and as these rooms did not include breakfast, also offered complimentary breakfast for our family which was a very nice gesture.

First the pros... The location, great. Close to Stephen's Green in Dublin 4. I walked everywhere from this location. Upscale neighborhood, close to bus stops and Starbucks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially: Karen, Yuri and an Asian fella & one other dark haired front desk gal. All very nice. Breakfast buffet plentiful also very good. Food was replenished often & was very clean. Room: I can only speak for mine. Double ensuite, second floor, building was located on high traffic, busy corner of Leeson. PROS: It was clean and stocked and functional to a degree. CONS: Extremely noisy from street traffic AND wind which rattled windows and awnings, and squeaky wood floors from above ALL which kept me up half the night each night except my last night. Heat: one heater was broken. Heat was on an automatic timer only after 6pm. Fake fireplace - didn't function. Furniture: drawers were not secure, so couldn't use. Table lamp and alarm clock- non-functional. Bathroom: small but functional for one person. ALL bathrooms in Ireland are to be expected as small. Bed: comfortable enough. My room had a Sauna and jacuzzi tub. Sauna was the best part of the room. I sometimes turned the Sauna on and left the door open for a little extra heat. Lol. Laundry: extremely confusing with no instructions for guests. All in all, not sure I would stay there again due to the traffic noise and single pane windows. And, I DID request a quiet room. Although Emma was very personable, and very helpful during our email communications, I asked if she could call me a cab when checking out & she told me that it would be quicker to flag down my own. Not cool. Ten minutes later, I was almost late for my train.
Room Tip: Make sure you select a room upstairs in the BACK OF THE BUILDING.

An absolutely lovely place to stay, I'll definitely go back when staying in Dublin again. The room was very reasonably priced and was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, while the breakfast provided was extensive and very tasty. All in all this B&B has the whole package.

Great stay, worth every cent at least off season. No idea how things are in summer. Wanna return someday.

We had a closet for a room. The bed was not very comfortable, the bath was barely adequate. The room was so incredibly small that there was no place to turn around in it. No place for luggage. The breakfast was nice. The saving grace was that the location was pretty good for walking around the city. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to see, to the pubs for dinner. Parking was very difficult to get to, but very secure and safe once we found it.

Great place to stay at a reasonable price near central Dublin. Convenient access to the airlink shuttle, too.

We recently had three delightful nights at the Leeson Bridge House B &B in Dublin. The location is ideal for enjoying the most popular parts of this city and there is a Hertz rental office just two blocks away. Our room was actually a small apartment, complete with a kitchenette which came if so handy when we just did not want a full meal out. The breakfast offerings were extensive and included full cooked Irish, continental as well as cold cheese and meats. The cost was very reasonable too. We were very pleased with our choice of lodging and found the staff quite helpful. I give Leeson Bridge House a strong recommendation!

We did stay at the guesthouse for three nights on a city trip to Dublin and therefor it turned out to be a good choice.
Our room was clean and equipped with everything you'd expect from a standard hotel room. Its location on the groundfloor right at the corner of the hotel with two big windows going straight out on a busy road wasn't favourable but with soundproofing windows and thick curtains sleeping wasn't a problem.
The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was great! A huge range of everything to get you started for a long day of sightseeing irish and continental breakfast, served in a snug breakfast room - perfect to chat to the other guests and get some tips for the day.
The location of the guesthouse is great if you wish to be close to the city center but not want to sleep right in the bustle of it. Getting there and getting around from there is quite easy as everything Aircoach, Bus, Luas, Dart is close by.
Altogether the Leeson Bridge House offers good value for money. It is not a luxury hotel but a warm and welcoming place. We'd recomend it to everyone who is looking for decent accomodation in Dublin without paying a fortune.

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Leeson Bridge Guest House. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. If we are ever in Dublin again this will be our first choice.

When we arrived to check in at about 8:30 AM on July 9, 2014, the man at the desk told us we did not have reservations. We showed him the computer papers confirming our reservation for a triple room for the nightsof July 9-11, 2014. Although we were arriving at Leeson Bridge House at 8:30 AM, we realized that we could not officially check in until around 4:00 PM but wanted to ask about the possibility of leaving our luggage at Leeson Bridge House while we tour for the day. Again, he said we did not have reservations. Charlotte Milstead would be the third-party in our room, we explained, and she checked into Leeson Bridge last night. After he checked, he said there is no one by that name staying at Leeson Bridge right now. He was very unaccommodating. Ten minutes later and after my husband and I discussed what to do regarding our plans for the day, the man said that yes, we were registered to stay at Leeson Bridge and that Charlotte Milstead was still in her room, and that we could wait in the office sitting room until she exits her room which was across that hall from his desk. After 45 minutes he allowed us to leave our luggage in the sitting room while we go to a restaurant for breakfast. We were not able to phone Charlotte nor did we want to wake her. This was not a way to welcome guests at any time, especially those, like us, who had been flying all night. Later, when arriving in our room, we found only 2 sets of towels. After requesting another set and being told they would bring them up, no one brought them up and no towels were available at the desk. We never received them. The following 2 days we found the people at the desk to be unfriendly and not particularly helpful. The morning of July 12 when we were leaving, there was a delightful and very friendly, helpful young woman at the desk who suggested how we could get a cab to the car rental place. Leeson Bridge needs to find more friendly and able staff at their desk, like her. Unfortunately, neither I nor my husband will recommend Leeson Bridge House to anyone.

We were happy to have chosen Leeson Bridge House: It was easy to find, the site at the Canal is marvellous - a bit away from all the huzzle inthe city center, but not too far outside and in a lively neighbourhood. People were very friendly, helpful and competent when we asked for interesting locations and shopping opportunities. Our room was nice, clean and completely quiet, in spite of the traffic outside. Breakfast was good and plenty. The only thing that didn´t please us too well was the breakfast room: It was too small, concerning the number of people sitting inside, and when full it was quite sticky. A new air condition would be a good idea, I presume.

Easy location to access from Dublin center, nice room, nice staff. One problem we did have was that the room was quite warm with no air conditioner, no available fan they didn't have enough to go around, and windows that didn't open - and if they did there wasn't a screen and bugs were on the plants right outside the window and probably would have joined us inside given a chance.

We had a lovely stay at Leeson Bridge. It is a great location, the staff had great recommendations, and we're really helpful. Highly recommended !

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to everything and easy to find. My little apartment had all the conveniences I needed for my week long stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Dublin.

Friendly staff, but not a business hotel. Internet was down for 3 days and the manager did not seem to take the clients' complaints seriously. Staff was apologetic and patient but could not do anything.

The location is good, just a 5 min. walk to St. Stepehn's Green Park; the breakfast was nice & sufficient, the rooms unfortunately not soundpoofed and rather small. The staff was partly really helpful partly a bit grumpy.
All in all a good place to stay for a couple of days!

The room was a bit on the small side for two people.
Otherwise the only distasteful aspect was that my partner found a long hair in his fruit and cereal at breakfast.Hair ought to be covered while cooking and working in the kitchen. He didn't want to cause embarassement to the young woman on duty so said nothing at the time.

We stayed 5 nights at the Leeson Bridge House. Upon arrival we were greeted by a kind gentleman at the front desk and shown two rooms to choose from. We chose the room with a separate entrance, kitchen, patio and steam shower. It was a very nice start to our vacation! The breakfast was quite delicious too - just make sure to get there early! The front desk also provided us with great recommendations and held our bags for a couple hours after check-out so we could enjoy lunch before catching the bus back to the airport. Overall we had a lovely stay!
United States (March, 2014)
I had a room with a balcony ! facing the back yard. Nothing
there to disturb the peace and quiet. Air coach and local buses
almost on the door step! Next to the building there was a canal.
Perfect to walk along and at the same time look at tens of well-
fed swans swimming around in the water. The breakfast room
was small and cosy. I liked it - and the full Irish breakfast. One
thing I didn´t like, though. As much as a viking from the far north
I may be I found the room a bit chilly. But that was a minor problem!

Lesson Bridge House is great location, easy access into town and out. I was there for an RDS based event and found getting around very easy.
My room was on the front over the front door, so I was slightly apprehensive but thanks to their interior sound buffers, I heard absolutely nothing. Staff were friendly and really helpful. This was my first time staying there, but definitely will stay there again, great value, great location and great place.

For what we paid it was perfect. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Place could do with a little revamp and tlc, bed wasn't comfortable but was ok for one night. Would stay again. Very central and easy to get to, staff really made the stay great.

My wife and I had two wonderful stays at Leeson Bridge House during our fortnight in Ireland. We spent our first nights there after flying into Dublin and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Everything we wanted was within easy walking distance and the staff took care to recommend places and give us directions. We enjoyed it so much, we booked for the evening before our return to the States and were treated again to the fabulous service. Highly recommend.

My husband and I chose this establishment because it was very close to where our daughter lives. She had passed it many times and thought it would fit our needs. She was right!
When we arrived, they had originally reserved a very nice apartment suite for us; however, it was on the third floor with no lift available. Since I have a bad knee, we felt it would be wiser to accept a regular bedroom that had fewer steps. The room was adequate and the door to the washroom had a beautiful stained-glass panel. Nice touch. The only real negatives were the fact that they do not have wake-up service and the clock/radio, in the room, did not work at all. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Stayed with my dad here for one night. Great all 'round. Comfortable room with a small balcony for smoking I presume that was okay. WiFi is fast enough to watch Youtube vids and the morning breakfast is as big as you want it to be. I'd stay there again.

The Leeson Bridge House B&B was in an excellent location for walking into city center. We recieved an upgrade upon arrival to the apartment which was great. The room was quiet considering its location in the city with great space and ammenities. The desk staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions for local activity. Breakfast was large, but mediocre. We loved our time there on our first night in the Ireland. It was a great introduction to Dublin.

Very comfortable stay at Leeson Bridge House on Saturday 14 Sept 2013. We had a triple room which was very comfortable and large. It even had a kitchen attached! Great value, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. A large number of my family stayed on the same weekend and we all said the same. On any return trip to Dublin, this is where I will stay in future.
Thank you Leeson Bridge House

I stayed at the Leeson Bridge just for few hours 'cause I had an early flight the following day. The Hotel is clean, very cheap, more cheaper than the other ones in Dublin and it is located at only 10 minutes walking from St. Stephen's green. If I come back to Dublin I'll book a room again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Reception were very helpful couldn't fault the service! Lovely breakfast, plenty of choice and no shortage of food. We had a reasonable size room with a kitchenette and small ensuite. Good location for a wander around Dublin City. Our only minor complaint was that it was very warm so we had the windows open. This resulted in very substantial traffic noise which continued throughout the night including car horns!
