B&B Reviews
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Sleepy Hollow. Elizabeth gave us a warm welcome and was always ready with helpful suggestions and directions. The house is quite spacious, beautifully clean, and there is a lovely garden with a patio at the back. Our bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom surprisingly large and convenient. We really appreciated having tea and coffee making facilities in the guest lounge, which was adjacent to our bedroom. The continental breakfast was beautifully set out in the dining room and we found it plentiful and tasty, particularly the fresh fruit and Elizabeth's home baked goodies. Thank you Elizabeth for making us feel so "at home" in Ennis.

Elizabeth's home is a lovely place to stay. She is warm and makes you feel like a wanted guest. The home is clean and comfortable; if you are lucky enough with the weather [we were not] you can enjoy your afternoon wine or tea looking out over a beautiful garden. The breakfast are wonderful! Homebaked breads and muffins, healthy egg/protein dishes, and wonderful sideboard of fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals. Her home is in a very nice neighborhood approximately a ten minute walk to the downtown. I highly recommend and I would definitely stay again.

We were very well received by Elizabeth. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom much the same.Parking very Easy. Breakfast was only Continental but quite complete and tasty with as much as you like. This is very handy for the Tarbert Ferry.

Very happy with our stay at Sleepyhollow even though it was very short. We arrived late straight from the airport, but the owner kindly waited for us. The room was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our breakfast and seeing the garden area and the park just behind the house really made us want to stay longer. Definitely recommended.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely time at Sleepyhollow. The house is comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean, and very well located just a short walk from the town centre. Elizabeth is friendly and welcoming, and made a lovely breakfast each morning. The guest lounge is an added bonus too. We would definitely return!

We only stayed there for one night, but it could not have been better. Elizabeth gave us a very friendly welcoming and was happy to help out with everything. The room was nice, and quiet with a view over her wonderful garden and the lovely homemade breakfast with everything you could wish for the next morning made it even better. Thanks for everything.

The room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. Elizabeth was a wonderful host, and was happy to answer questions about the area and advise on directions, etc. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the downtown area - so it's close enough to easily be able to go out, but far enough that you get a good and quiet night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

We look forward to returning to Elizbeth Ryan's immaculately-kept home with lovely backyard views of her garden and open countryside. A convenient location once you find it; a short walk to downtown Ennis and a 20-min drive via N85/M18 to Shannon. Our hostess could not have been more gracious in person and via e-mail, and she serves an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Sleepyhollow B&B was an excellent stopover with gracious and helpful hostess Mary. A great location, just a short walk into town, with a generous and well-cooked breakfast ensured we continued to enjoy our Irish holiday. We were also extremely pleased to catch some traditional Irish music down at one of the local bars. On-site parking provided.

The room was clean, if a bit small. But there was a lounge where one can go to watch TV, get a cup of tea, etc.. Location was a bit far from city centre but easily walkable. The breakfast was good and Elizabeth was a nice host who provided advice on what to do and where to go.

We stayed two nights with my brother in this b&b and it was more than perfect. Elizabeth is very nice and will do everything to help you. The breakfast was very good. We slept perfectly because beds are confortable and the street is very calm, we heard nothing. The Bathroom is perfect. Elizabeth picked us up at the bus station when we arrived and she drove us back. The b&b is at 10 minutes from the city center and at 5 minutes of the pubs and restaurant. Thank you very much Elizabeth!

We stayed at Sleepyhollow for four nights in late June. This charming place is nicely at walking distance from beautiful Ennis center. The place was also very suitable as a base for exploring the countryside with a rented car. The house and room was nice, breakfast perfect and landlady Elizabeth very charming. It couldn't have been better.

We arrived at Shannon Airport at 7am then drove to the Cliffs of Moher. Needless to say we were in dire need of a "siesta" after driving back to Ennis. Elizabeth graciously let us check in just after 12 noon and we energized ourself for a great night out exploring the wonderful town of Ennis! Breakfast was delightful and delicious and my only regret is next trip, will stay in Ennis and at SleepyHollow for more than 1 night. Thanks Elizabeth!!!

Sleepyhollow once again proved to be the perfect choice, so cosy and inviting and not at all spooky as the name suggests. As usual Elizabeth was friendly and charming and Ennis, although quiet at this time of year, is still a charming little town.

This was our second time staying at Sleepy Hollow - the first being in 2009. Thank you Elizabeth for once again being a gracious hostess and making us feel at home. As before the accommodation and bathroom were spotless, and the breakfast varied and healthy. The close proximity to town meant we were able to walk there for our meal, which we again had in Brogans We will be back!!!
