We stayed for five wonderful nights at Joan’s B&B and were treated as family. As I needed wheelchair accommodations, I was given the apartment which also had cooking and laundry facilities! Joan helped us plan our daily activities. The breakfasts were good and Joan could accommodate my wife’s food allergies. The location was on a quite road just outside Killarney. It had great access to the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Pennisula, Gap of Dunlow and Killarney National Park. There was also a good local pub and restaurant a few kilometres down the road.

Spacious room for 4, typically generous Irish breakfast, quiet location.

A very busy and friendly host mother. The room was tidy and comfortable but some minutes away from the main house.
You need a car to get there from Killarney.

Very impressed with our time in Doughlasha! Joan was very accommodating with our large group 14. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we could want. From the offer of tea on arrival to an amazing breakfast, our family of Irish & Canadians were all pleased with our choice! Definitely recommend it!

We stayed for two nights at Doughlasha B&B, everything was perfect. The room was super clean and it was very spacious. The breakfast was really good and with a lot of variety. Joan was great with us, she gave us directions in what to see around and she was always very helpful! I highly recommend it and definitly will visit again.

Had the 2 most perfect nights there. The location might not be the best but the room, the breakfast and the welcome by the owners was incredible!

Doughlasha B&B is run by the nicest family and has rooms that are exquisitely clean. The location does require a cab or taxi to get into the center but we were given maps and recommendations on the best nearby food places, music places, and pubs. We were even offered a ride to the train station when our plans changed last minute. We were treated very kindly. I would recommend this place the anyone that visits this area without hesitation. :
