My Wife, daughter and I have been travelling through Europe for 5 weeks and have stayed in many places, Larkinley was the absolute best we have stayed in. Danny and Toni are the most warm and welcoming hosts you could ever meet. On the day we let after our 2 day stay it felt like we were leaving our family behind. December 2014

What a lovely property and welcome by the host. They have done a fantastic job of creating hotel type facilities in a B&B setting, despite no in room tea and coffee making facilities. However, we were very disappointed with the attention to cleanliness. On the surface it looks very clean but despite the pillow cases and duvet covers appearing clean, the actual pillows and duvets had a dreadful aroma of DRIED SWEAT! They had quite obviously not been washed for sometime! This applied to both rooms that our party used. We had to cover the pillows with our own clothing in order to try to mask the smell, which was making us nauseous. During our seven day visit to Ireland we exclusively used B&B accommodation. ALL of which were totally spotless and aroma free. I would also add that the quality of breakfast was far inferior to the other properties we stayed in. They could have a fantastic product if only they would wash the pillows and duvets between guests.

Everything was just great. It was neat as a pin and everything was sparkling. The breakfast was yummy. We arrived in the middle of a downpour and Toni brought us hot tea up to our room, loaned us an umbrella and told us where to go to sit by the fire and have a hot meal. They helped us with directions and couldn't have been any more helpful. If we ever go back to Killarney, we would probably stay with them!

Clean facility. Kind,fFriendly and courteous hostess. Great breakfast. Great room. You could hear the adjacent room through the walls or the skylite. Very close to downtown pubs and restaurants. Limited parking but that is common with all of Ireland. Very nice meeting you Tony. Roger & Ruth Plant Halifax, Nova Scotia

Felt like home... When booking accommodation one never know what to expect, well this place surely exceeded our expectations!! This B&B is owned and managed by Toni and Danny, a charming couple who loves what they do and knows how to make their guests feel right at home. Our room was lovely and we were amazed at how quiet it was since the B&B is located in one of the main streets entering Killarney. It was within walking distance from the town centre so we never had to worry about having a few drinks and driving. Toni and Danny suggested the best places for sightseeing, where to have drinks or to eat at and we were never disappointed. If it was necessary to make a booking at a restaurant, Toni would phone and arrange everything so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. Breakfast was one of our favorite times during our stay, Toni takes the orders and serves the breakfast while Danny does all the cooking. Danny cooks the best bacon in the world so trying the Irish breakfast is a must if you stay here.

Larkinley B&B was fantastic! We only got to stay in Killarney for one evening but Toni and her husband were fantastic. The B&B was in a great location and the room was wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here! If I find myself back in Killarney, I will definitely be at Larkinley B&B again!

Tutto perfetto!

My husband and our 9-year old daughter spent four nights in the comfort of Larkinley. It was our first visit to Ireland and we all absolutely loved our stay at this outstanding B&B. As soon as we arrived at Larkinley, we knew we had chosen well and for the duration of our stay, it felt very much as 'home away from home'. How fortunate we were to have the warmth, hospitality and knowledgeable assistance of both Toni and Danny. We were guided superbly with suggestions that made every day of our visit perfect. Their Irish breakfasts were outstanding and the service was always exceptional. Toni and Danny are natural hosts with an obvious love for people, a high benchmark for service and a flair for creating wonderful experiences. Their generosity of spirit made our whole experience of Killarney one that all of us will cherish for a very long time. Thank you so much!

The Larkinley is a very well kept b&b with very good food, accommodations and location. We were able to walk to the train station to the Larkinley, to many restaurants and tour sites, and to various historic sites in the historic town of Killarney, which attracts numerous tourists and weekenders. The hosts were very gracious, suggesting tours and other activities, along with good restaurants. The rooms were also very nice. Like most places in Ireland, there is no air conditioning but the Larkinley is very well ventilated. Overall we were very satisfied.

This is not a good B&B, nor even a great B&B; this is a first class, A1, tip-top B&B with bells and whistles on. Immaculate & clean throughout, great food, and Toni is the best landlady ever; well they do say the best things come in small packages! Thank you so much Toni for a fabulous stay, and you're so convenient for the town too. Lovely!

My wife, two young adult daughters and I stayed at Larkinley B&B in July 2014. Toni and her husband Danny were terrific. Toni was warm, gregarious and engaging. She had brilliant recommendations for dinner and trad music. Danny provided detailed directions and helpful successions for touring the Dingle Peninsula. The B&B was spotless. All rooms, en suite, were spacious and well decorated. Although it is on a busy road and my wife and I had the room in front on the street, it was quiet and restful. It is well located - walking distance to downtown Killarney.

Larkinley is an exceptional B&B. We just completed 5 weeks traveling around the UK & Ireland, and Larkinley was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in. Toni and Danny were incredibly warm and welcoming, and helped us with so many suggestions. Toni's restaurant recommendations were spot on every time including the ones for our next destination. The accommodation was lovely and clean, with plenty of space, good showers, and comfy beds. Location is perfect for dining out, or a bit of late-night shopping.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. This BnB exceeded my expectations. Toni & Danny the owners could not be anymore accommodating, friendly, and kind. By the end of our 2 day stay, they felt like long lost family. At one point during the rest of our trip, I told my husband "I miss them!" Outside of the lovely hospitality, the BnB is incredibly clean & neat. The bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was delicious. When I go back to Ireland, I cannot imagine staying anywhere but here. It is also a great location.. less than 5 minute walk to the town and parking was pretty easy. Thank you so much Danny & Toni for your kindness and hospitality!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2014. This B&B is beautifully maintained, and our room was very large and spotlessly clean. Off-street parking is available free of charge, either directly in front of the B&B, or in the lot behind. They are in a quiet location and an easy 5 minute walk to the center of downtown Killarney. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, cereal, the full Irish breakfast, and other selections. The host and hostess offered assistance and suggestions for visiting sites in the area, along with great directions. We highly recommend Larkinley Lodge and would definitely stay here again.

Toni and Danny were the perfect hosts from the minute we arrived for our two night stay. The house is immaculate, the breakfast scrumptious, and the location perfect. Toni gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. She also dried our clothes when we were drenched from our Gap of Dunloe adventure. You cannot find a better B and B to stay in Killarney. If we ever get back to Killarney we will stay at Larkinley.

I am Irish and I know Killarney well. This is one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in. We were there for 2 nights in May. Toni is a fantastic host - incredibly warm friendly nurturing person who truly cares for her guests' well being. Toni very kindly drove us to the local church we were there for a family occasion and also offered to drive us to the station on our last day. Her care is second to none,! The room was very comfortable and very clean and the shower is fantastic! Breakfast was delicious and Toni bought spelt bred especially for me as I don't eat wheat. The location is ideal as it is a few minutes walk to the centre of town and overall it is very good value for money. I cannot rate this guesthouse highly enough! Thank you Toni and Danny !

We traveled to several cities while in Ireland and I was least excited about Killarney...until I got to this B&B! The owners were incredible! Tony booked a tour for us that picked us up at the B&B. The breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful! But the best part was how clean everything was. They must clean every nook and cranny with a toothbrush! I truly felt at home. If we ever get a chance to go back to Ireland Killarny and this B&B are on the top of my list of placed to visit!

For our honeymoon, my wife and I spent 8 days driving around Ireland. Everything was amazing! Until we got into Killarney. We drove around endlessly trying to find somewhere that would take the darn vouchers on short notice. Brilliant decision on my end to just "wing" it. Then we came across Larkinley. Just a beautiful building with convenient parking, and a stellar location. When I knocked on the door Toni welcomed my wife and I as old friends, even though we didn't have a reservation. The inside was so incredibly clean that I don't have the vocabulary to adequately describe it. Modernly elegant, with a humble feel. The room was just beautiful! She gave us our keys and left us to our own devices. In the morning, the breakfast was the best I had the entire time in Ireland. Toni was nice enough to give us some ideas on where to go, as well as give me some tips on driving. Haha! It was just wonderful. I really hope we get the opportunity to visit Killarney again, and If we do I know exactly we will stay!

This was our second stay at Larkinley B&B. I would highly recommend it as the service and standard is excellent. We were warmly greeted by Toni and given a cup of coffee after our day of travels. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was spotless, very comfortable with lots of extras giving it a warm and homely feel. We certainly did not want to leave and will definitely return. in 2012, our son went on a high school graduation trip planned by a family with experience in Ireland and stayed at Larkinley. He loved it and urged us to stay there as well. It was great! The owners renovated an older row house very near the restaurant/pub/shopping district in 2008 to include ensuite bathrooms, a sitting room for customers, etc. From this lodge, you can walk short 1.5 blocks! to the start of downtown. We had a favorite pub for live music after the first night. Rick Steves says to miss Killarney but we loved it. Music, food, laundry service, many ATMs Dingle has them too - Doolin near Moher does not. Our host family Toni & Danny was wonderful - they advised, assisted, entertained. The parking is in front with backup nearby to ensure you have a spot- Danny will park your car if you are too tired to cope with sinister - left sided - parking after a day of driving. Really awesome accomodations. I can't recommend enough!

"Luck of the Irish" Although not Irish, our group of 8 felt the luck of the Irish during our recent stay at Larkinley Lodge. Toni and her husband Danny were phenomenal hosts and the house, like others have said, is outstanding! Modern and well equipted. Several times my traveling companions asked how we happened to be so lucky to find such a wonderful place to stay. It was Tripadvisor and all the great and accurate reviews. We had just spent 5 nights at a marvelous B&B in St. Andrew's and feared our expectations might not be met when we re-located to Killarney. But from the minute Toni answered the door - with her cheer and excitement - we were blown away by the hospitality and facilities provided to our group. As this was our first trip to Killarney and Ireland, Toni and Danny were sure to provide there thoughts and recommendations on where to eat and what to do. There recommendations were spot on and helped to make the most of our stay in Killarney. Hint: do go eat at Wholesome Fayre if you get the chance! Toni made sure to tend to our every need - always with a smile and full of energy! The icing on the cake was our morning of our departure when our 7 am arranged ride failed to show. Without any hesitation Toni jump in her car and insisted on shuttling our group to the train station to be sure we would make our train. She was like our own Leprechaun - saving us in our moments of need! My only regret - besides having to leave lovely Killarney and Lakingly Lodge - was that we did not have more time to talk with Toni and Danny to learn more about them. We will miss our new found friends, but know that the memories of our incredible stay will stay with us forever!

Larkinley Lodge had been our best acommodation in Irland. It´s a great place to stay. The room was nice, comfortable and sought the detail. The shower was divine! They have some places to park in front of the hotel, and others just a few feet away. The lodge is situated in a quiet area but only a five minute walk from the center of city life. Their breakfasts are plentiful and well cooked. But perhaps best of all are the owners. Toni is lovely treats you like a mother and Dani was very friendly and gave us many indications for our sightseeing. They are very affectionate and make your stay delightful

We are from Ireland; we have come to expect poor accommodation quality here. Larkinley is a remarkable and extremely rare exception to that. We have stayed in many hotels both in Ireland and across Europe, Larkinley is as good if not better than most. We stayed for four nights and it's as close to perfect as it's possible to find! Many thanks to Toni, Danny and your assistant [sorry, didn't catch her name!] you are a credit to Killarney and really nice people to boot! This is by far the best B&B in Ireland. I have stayed in many locales but no one touches Toni for friendliness, accommodations and service. I was there two years ago and made a promise to return. At one point in our planning process, we thought of dropping Larkinley in favor of a place with laundry facilities. We decided ultimately, to stay here after we read a few of the reviews. Larkinley, may be the best B&B ever. The food is excellent. The rooms are spotless and sparkling. The beds are wonderful. We were exhausted when we arrived and Toni welcomed us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. Each day we asked for help/directions, we were invited into the kitchen to chat with Danny. He drew maps for us and mentioned names of places to stop for a great meal/vista/dessert. Larkinley is close to everything and very convenient for both the Ring of Kerry and the town of Killarney. We were truly made to feel like honored dear friends. Larkinley might have been the best B&B we stayed in in Ireland. Thank you, Toni and Danny.

Larkinley Lodge is a newer building, with a more modern sensibility to design and furnishings than you find in most B&Bs in Ireland. The warm, friendly welcome and hospitality, though, is pure old-school traditional. Both Danny and Toni were so friendly and helpful that I was sorry I had only three nights to stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable and quiet, the bed was amazing, and the food was excellent. THE place to stay in Killarney, as far as I'm concerned. Room Tip: Rooms near the back keep you away from traffic noise, and are still very light and friendly.
