B&B Reviews
Sika Lodge exceeded our expectations, the house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, full of details that make guests feel right at home. Serena and Alan are always willing to help and provide information about the area and great tips on local restaurants and pubs. And breakfast at Sika Lodge is not to be missed!

Sika Lodge was truly a luxury accommodation. From the second we walked in we were treated very kindly and given plenty of helpful advice on what to see and where to go in Killarney. The rooms very comfortable and clean, the house was spotless and the breakfast was delicious... all for a very reasonable price! I would definitely stay here again.

Serena knocked us out with her warm welcome to her beautiful stone house just a minute or two from downtown Killarney. The atmosphere is at the same time elegant and completely unpretentious. The house, though surprisingly new, conveys the impression of an old Irish stone house. Breakfast was outstanding, amenities were many and thoughtful, and Serena was very helpful letting us know local restaurants. An easy choice for those looking for the nicest place to stay in Killarney.

Price was the same as we paid elsewhere on out tour of Ireland yet for that the quality of the room, breakfasts etc. was much higher - luxury! It was good to have a wide choice of breakfasts after a week of "full Irish" only. Location was good in that it's quick walking distance to town or to access National park, BUT the house is adjacent to a main road so there's traffic noise from early in the morning particularly a problem in summer if you need the window open to keep cool but they can't really control this. The only minor negative was only the few Irish channels on the TV as we were trying to keep up with the Olympics. We'd definitely stay again, for longer, but request a room away from the road.
