Stayed for 5 nights...very comfortable and welcoming. Excellent location just opposite the Port and short walk to the train station which gives a direct access link to Belfast. Breakfast always prompt and available from 6.00am if you need to catch the early ferry. Plenty of on-street parking provision. Can thoroughly recommend and will use again. Two one night bookings, Two weeks apart. We have used Harbour Inn as ferry B&B for several years .and are more than satisfied and will continue to do so whenever we visit Ireland. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast menu is comprehensive and well cooked. Liz and her staff are very welcoming, friendly and provide a superb service and cater for late evening ferry arrivals -, especially when we were delayed by "technical problems" by six hours and did not arrive until 4am instead of 10pm . My wife and I stay for one night before catching the ferry to Carn Ryan Scotland gust after the Easter break. We were delighted when we arrived late afternoon to find our welcome at the Harbour Inn was so friendly plus the room we were given was very clean and spacious and comfortable bed. This place is perfect if you're cycling through the area! It is very close to the train station, and just a small walk from restaurants. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. I arrived in Larne and at the B and B exhausted, cycling through Ireland and ready to get on the ferry the next day. I received a great welcome and was informed of the nearest restaurant / pub and P and O offices straight away. My bike was stored in the garage without any problems or arguments ad i had a great night sleep ready for the next day in Scotland. Breakfast was a treat from 6.45 which was remarkable as many b and Bs refused to serve before 7.30. Many thanks Unfortunately, I had to leave far too early. We were greeted with the most wonderful smile and a huge welcome, we were shown to our room on the first floor which was a nice room for a twin room. The house is big and spacious with a nice breakfast area and nice lounge to chill out,there is WiFi on the premises which is always nice to have when your away. The price of the B+B is nicely priced for a twin room @ £75 p/r its a close to the harbour and a nice food area with 3 restaurants which you can choose to dine in they are about 5minute walk from the Harbour Inn B+B. Had a great stay at the Harbour Inn last week. We stayed there 1 night before we took the ferry to Scotland and then another night when we returned from Scotland. Great location for an early morning departure! Liz was outstanding. From the moment we arrived she assisted with parking, local recommendations and even helped carry our bags upstairs! Wifey and I were on a motor bike tour from Norway through Denmark, Germany, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, England and back. On our way we came to Larne by ferry on July 18.th-2013 and happened to park outside a butcher´s shop in the main street ... wifey went in to ask for a recommendable accommodation ... We had a very comfortable and cosy 2 nights in Harbour Inn, while the weather outside was very cold and wet. Liz is an extremely attentive host and really cares that you have everything you need during your stay. We changed our booking last minute and Liz was really accommodating. Parking was not an issue, and the house was in good order - very light and spacious and we were delighted to find our family room was in fact two adjoining rooms. The Harbour Inn rooms are clean, beds comfortable, facilities 3star. What makes it outstanding for travellers on the ferry from Scotland is its location 200m from the ferry and also the welcome from the friendly manager who, in our case, stayed up till midnight to greet us when the ferry was delayed and gave us a good breakfast first thing in the morning. Liz went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She was a genuinely nice person. Her cheerfulness and her friendlyness made our stay unforgettable. The house is a well kept and updated Victorian House. The bathroom is bright. The shower is very powerful and had plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and warm. Rooms were clean and the B & B is located about a block from the ferry, so it is very convenient. Our hostess offered us early breakfast so we could make the ferry on time.
