A very nice B&B, the room was confordouble which allowed to have a good nights sleep, we were then served with a big Irish breakfast we even had fresh duck eggs. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Orchard very much. The rooms are less-than-fancy, but they and the bed are quite comfortable, Best of all, our hostess provided wonderful conversation, wonderful suggestions to our travel inquiries, and an excellent breakfast. she was very accommodating to my vegetarian requests! Eileen runs an exceptional B&B of the style that is welcoming and charming at all times. On arrival we were offered a much needed cup of tea with some lovely griddle bread, home-made jams and porter cake, our hostess was helpful in all areas including sharing her recipe for the griddle bread when we asked. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious using fresh eggs from their own hens and local sausages and bacon. There were other choices but we went for the traditional Irish breakfast. All in all excellent and we will be using again next year for the WestFestEileen Gaffney - Ireland (September, 2012)
