A lovely place to stay. Really welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent rhubarb tart - Guinness cake and we got the recipe.Great location but if you are walking into Spiddal take a torch for the return journey as there are no street lights. We would have no problem in going back there.

My Russian friend and I stayed here when touring the Atlantic Way. The host's excellent experience was demonstrated throughout our stay. We had a very peaceful sleep, the room suited our needs and there is plenty secure parking. It is a 10 minute pleasant walk into the village.
The breakfast was superb esp with the home baked breads and tart. Vera and her husband are excellent hosts and conservationists. As an Irish person, it makes me proud to see guests to our country are met with such considered hospitality.

My husband, daughters and I stayed with Vera and Bartley for three nights. Vera had great suggestions of things to do, which is helpful as I have been fortunate to go to Ireland many times, and am always looking for something different. The house and bedrooms are spotless, and the view is fantastic. Breakfasts are very good! Parking is very easy, and their home is a quiet place, while convenient to Galway and Connemara. I wish I could stay longer!

The hosts Mr and Mrs Finney were super friendly and helpful. Great spot to tour the 'west side' from! If I were to go back to Ireland I'd like to stay a week in Spiddal at the Ardmor and tour the whole area. Super clean rooms, great breakfast.

Very nice hosts, they took their time to explain the surroundings and what to do around the area, great breakfast with a variety to choose from. The room was absolutely ok for a family to stay in. Would definitely book Ardmore House again.

Our stay at Ardmor House was delightful. The host and hostess were very friendly and knowledgeable and served a great breakfast. Public areas were tastefully decorated but not overdone.
Our rooms were well equiped and clean and comfortable. Views of Galway bay and convieniet to small town as well as Connermera Nat.l Park.
Location was easy to find, except the sign was small and hard to see in the evening. I would definitely recommend this B&B and return.

We have stayed with Vera and Bartley many times in the past years and it has always been a wonderful visit. The rooms are very nice with plenty of room. The breakfasts are very good and Vera does her own baking. It is a central location to visit the Aran Islands either by plane or ferry. We will be returning to Ardmor House on our next visit

Our stay at Ardmore was perfect in every way. Beautiful breakfast with homemade apple tarts warm out of the oven; we were given great recommendations for dinner spots and directions to walk which we wanted to do.
Our hosts were very relaxed and welcoming. Would like to have stayed longer than one night!

I stayed here on Thursday 07th August. I could not fault this B&B at all. the hospitality that was shown was true and honest. I was met and shown to the room and was offered a slice of home baking as I had made a long journey down after work. The next morning my breakast was fresh and lovely cooked to order I noticed not only did the owners greet the guests, they took time to discuss the day before and the day ahead with them They have an interest in making sure people are made welcome. I sat at the table and saw a cake been offered to a guest whos birthday it was. I saw scone recepie been giving out and some given for the journey home. It made be proud to be Irish and I could see why people visiting this wonderful country of ours say we are a welcome and friendly nation. The price was fair, I got a comfortable sleep and had a good shower in the morning. I had been looking for a hotel for the night but I am delightled I went for the cheaper option with a much better service provided. I would recommend this place for an overnight or weekend away if you are exploring the area.

This was a great B&B. My daughter and I spent 7 days with Vera and Bartley - very gracious hosts. Vera was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, shopping and routes to travel. Her breakfasts were varied and served all appetites. From where they are located, we visited Kylemore Abbey, Aran Islands, Galway, Westport, Connemarra area and Vera arranged a bus tour to the Cliffs of Moher. Vera even helped us when we came back soaked to the skin after getting caught in an Ireland downpour. I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone.
